Over a year ago we set out to build the ultimate log splitter that we would want to use from the ground up. Until now there have been two options, get an average retail I-beam splitter with a painfully slow 18+ second cycle time or invest in a bank breaking commercial splitter/firewood processor with more bells and whistles than most folks want or need.
On both ends of that spectrum, we identified serious design flaws in the current splitters available. Most notably the ergonomics of the work space, the positioning of the controls, and the wasted space of the I-beam design. We also wanted to make ours the fastest and most powerful splitter in its class.
In collaboration with the legendary log splitter and firewood processor manufacturers, Timberwolf, in Marathon, NY and 4 industry experts who we've know for years from the USA and Canada, we're proud to report that we've achieved our goals on this project. We prototyped it, tested it, improved it, pushed it to its limits, and improved it some more ... now it's ready for its most important test run, yours.

Other log splitters typically have a narrow beam as a workspace that cause strain and risk accidents from falling wood. Other ones have a table grate beneath the beam that's cumbersome to use.
Our workspace on the other hand is on the level. Developed with input from firewood industry experts, the TimberOX Summit boasts a large 67x36” EZ-Slide folding work deck. This spacious area increases productivity by keeping split pieces from falling on the ground, making it easy for solo operators to handle log rounds efficiently.

Many splitters have poorly placed hydraulic controls that require awkward reaching, leading to unnecessary strain and fatigue. The TimberOX Summit's control is ergonomically positioned within easy reach, keeping your elbow at a comfortable 90 degree angle.
At 35", the work table and controls are at the ideal height to reduce back strain from bending over while operating the machine, but are still easy to load, especially with your LogOX Hauler. Tall Pusher Block with 360° Anti-Slip Grip
Your safety is our top concern when using heavy machinery. The TimberOX Summit’s pusher block includes a patent-pending raised 360-degree anti-slip grip, which improves handling during operation and minimizes the risk of accidents.
This is especially crucial when working with large, heavy, or irregularly shaped logs, that may otherwise slip and move up the front of the block while splitting. The pusher block is the same height as the splitting wedge.

Tall 2-Step Splitting Wedge (4-Way Wedge Optional):
The TimberOX Summit may not have the same splitting force as larger commercial log splitters, but because of our innovative Step Wedge, this small log splitter can split even large logs just as cleanly.
There is a small “step” at the bottom of the 12” tall by 1” thick wedge which allows for the log to crack before it makes full contact with the wedge. Once this initial split starts, the rest of the log round pushes through easily. This ensures easier, cleaner splits, especially with large rounds.
This splitting wedge height matches the tall pusher block. This key feature lets the operator to split, flip and resplit larger log rounds than most other splitters.
An optional 4-Way Wedge can easily be added by sliding it over the integrated Step Wedge, without any further assembly or additional tools. Normally the 4-Way Wedge produces 4” material, but it can be flipped upside down to produce 6” material.

Is there any reason for me to NOT use this splitter?
The TimberOX Summit is 3-4X faster than typical log splitters, which helps boost productivity but can be a double-edged sword.
Anyone who feels that they cannot safely operate a log splitter with a pusher block moving this fast should not. We recommend that no individuals under 16 years of age be allowed to operate the controls of this machine.
Additionally, ONLY the control operator should be guiding log rounds through the splitting process, to prevent accidents.
Regularly scheduled safety breaks at appropriate intervals should be taken to avoid fatigue-induced complacency when operating this or any heavy machinery.
Under no circumstances should it be operated while under the influence of any controlled substance.
